I woke up this morning with hard pain on my left side, back and stomach. Since I’ve had much pains during the whole pregnancy and contractions as well, I tried to ignore it and go on with my day and schedule. After 6 hours of really bad pain I called the hospital and got instructions to take a pain killer and then come to the hospital if it doesn’t help. The medicine didn’t help at all so we needed to go in for a check. I was much calmer than the last time I was here since the baby moved and kicked all the time and I felt that he was fine.
After lots of checks and medicine the doctor came to the conclusion that I have kidney stone! I’m not even surprise, my whole pregnancy has been a bit of a rollercoaster so some kidney stone didn’t really shock me haha. But I’m so grateful that Mini has it good and that the pain only feels for me. Also hoping I’ll be in shape for our move to Stockholm on Tuesday! But at the moment I’m writing this from my hospital bed.
I never knew you could have a connection with your baby during pregnancy already, but it’s crazy how I get to know Mini better everyday. He has such a clear character and pattern, and I can tell he’s WILD. Whenever the doctor put something like the ultrasound thing on my belly he would start kick it and make it impossible to see anything haha. But we did do an ultrasound here today and he weighs over 1kg already!! Proud mama. Now let’s hope that the rest of my pregnancy will go well and I won’t have to spend that much (more) time at the hospital before giving birth.
Ps. This morning we put together Mini’s first stroller and as promised, I’ll show you that in my next post. <3
