Ever since I was little I’ve been watching crime and thriller movies/series. And I could easily read 20 books with the same topics over a summer break when I was younger. Maybe it’s because I’ve grown up watching series like Beck, Wallander, Criminal Minds, Bones and more. But I have a big obsession with watching/reading about crimes and murders. And it’s HORRIBLE because it gets me to the point where I can’t walk my dog alone after 5pm because I’m afraid something will happen.
The worst part is that I prefer documentaries and when you know how surreal things actually have happened and are happening all the time, you get 1000 times as scared than just by watching these series that are made up.
I just somehow find the human brain so interesting and on Netflix there are several series that allows you to look inside the mind of a murderer (especially if you have the VPN as I wrote about in my last post). And now I’m not talking about these ”mild” crimes, but the ones that you didn’t even think was possible for anyone to commit.
I’ve been recommended a podcast called ”My favorite murder” but I honestly don’t know if I wanna start listening to that. Because I get so caught up that I won’t be able to let it go.
Also, the worst part is when you watch something that involves a terrible crime and you don’t know who did it. I watched Amanda Knox on Netflix and then I watched her interview on Skavlan and I find the whole thing so frustrating. I literally googled and watched every video related to that crime just to get some clearness but there's none.
Do you have any advice for a crazy person like me?
Thanks, bye. <3
