A lot of people ask where I buy my pregnancy clothes, but to be honest I use my husband's clothes most of the time heh... So no preggy clothes needed. But what I DO use is pregnancy dresses and leggings (my life saver) and I've gotten all of my maternity clothes from here & here. My breasts are growing like crazy which is making me very uncomfortable since I've never used bras before. I feel really squeezed in bras and this is probably the biggest minus with the body changes right now. Most people say the breasts go back to their normal size super fast after the baby is born, and I really hope so, because I'm not sure I can spend much more time than necessary in a bra.
Then about stretch marks, no I haven't gotten any yet and I'm using a mother's balm cream every day to prevent that. But I mean, it's not so surprising if some marks pop up, the belly literally stretches itself in crazy ways during pregnancy, so I don't know how much a cream can do. There's so much going on with the body while your pregnant and you can't really do anything other than take care of it in the best possible way. I'm pretty bad when it comes to eating greens and being active, so I really have to force myself to eat some salad every day and go out for a walk. Before I got pregnant I couldn't care less about these things, I could go a week without eating any fruit or greens and I would never think about if I should go for a walk or not. But now that my responsibility isn't only for myself, but for another tiny human, eating greens and going for a walk suddenly feels super important.
What's happening with mini me right now that I'm halfway through pregnancy: he/she is about 24cm but still weighs less than 0,5kg. The baby has gotten eyelashes, eyebrows, nails and milk teeth. All organs are "ready" now, they just develop all the time and the baby is working out a lot and becoming stronger, getting better reflexes and can move around in more advanced ways now. He/she gets the hiccups and spends most of the time sucking on the thumb. The baby also kicks a LOT and has developed senses, which means he/she can feel for example pain now.
I have a program that shows me the baby's development and tells me everything I need to know about the baby and me from week to week. So on Thursdays (like today yay) when a new pregnancy week starts, I can unlock a new week of the program and get to read everything that is happening in my belly right now. This has been a big relief, because sometimes it feels like I have no idea of what's going on and I feel totally lost, but when I read I feel like I know my baby better and that has been so nice since day 1.
