We finally got a big TV to our apartment but obviously forgot a TV table, so now it's on the floor haha... Which means today's plan is to go shopping for a TV table and some other stuff we still miss in the apartment. Tonight is Mello night and for once I'm going to watch it, cuddled up in the sofa with SNACKS.
A thing that makes me upset is when people feel the need to tell me what to eat during pregnancy. "You just had a chocolate bar? That's not so good for the baby, try a fruit instead." Eh? I know there are certain things that should be avoided during pregnancy and luckily for me, 90% of those are things I don't have otherwise either. Like alcohol, coffee and meat. So for me the only things I've had to avoid during pregnancy is probably seeds (don't know why these aren't "allowed" during pregnancy?) and the need to have a energy drink every once in a while. I never drink energy drinks but have gotten a weird craving for it during my pregnancy. I haven't had even a sip, even though I don't think it would be THAT bad to have some. But I try to avoid that craving for 2,5 more months hehe.
But then, things like chocolate, a bit of candy or fast food every now and then... I wouldn't survive these 9 months without that haha! So when people go on about how I need to eat healthier than ever because I'm growing a baby, I tend to shut my ears. I do understand that you need to give the baby nutrition and vitamins. I'm not the best in this area to be honest, but I eat 3-4 fruits a day and veggies with every meal. And I take my preggy vitamins. And I would like to say that the food I eat is pretty healthy overall. So when I allow myself some snacks and a bit more unhealthy stuff, I really don't think it effects either the baby or myself. So to those out there who feel great drinking green smoothies and eating salads 24/7, great, but I'm literally about to have a mental breakdown if someone comments on me having a chocolate bar during pregnancy again.
Oh, this post escalated from being my weekend plans to a rage about food shaming haha. Well, otherwise my plans are to go out eating with my mama who's in Stockholm for a yoga weekend right now, unpack some clothing boxes that I still haven't fixed hehe and plan some upcoming work stuff on my social media. I hope you have a great weekend loves! <3
Ps. These leggings are from Femme Luxe and I LOVE them. These are their Black Ribbed Knit Leggings, and they are NOT maternity pants. They just happen to fit the bump perfectly since they are of a super cozy & flexible material. So they will be perfect on me also after pregnancy which is a BIG plus. Also, they look more like pants than leggings so you can wear them with almost anything and it'll still look great. You find these and much more from Femme Luxe here.
