How many legal names will you be giving Mini?
He'll have a name, a middle name and a surname. So two official names before Näsman (our last name)!
How old are you & your husband?
I'm 19 and he's 26!
When is Mini due?
Our C-section is planned to be May 23rd. In two weeks I'm going to the hospital where we're gonna have a closer check on everything with the doctors, so the date might change to some days earlier or later then.
Is social media work or a hobby for you?
I'd like to say a hobby since I do it because I like it and not because "it's a work". But at the same time it's a work since I get a salary. So both!
Are you going to take maternity leave from blogging?
No! Officially my maternity leave starts in less than two weeks(!!) but I'm gonna continue blogging normally.
How did you meet your husband?
How I met my husband is a crazy story. Some parts of it I've decided to keep out of social media, but long story short: he was friends with one of the guys I was working on my album with at the time. So one day he came to the studio when I was recording & writing songs and we clicked in a surreal way. And since that day it's been him & me!
You've talked about that you & your husband have changed completely since you met, in what way?
I'm not gonna talk about my husband's situation since that's his personal stuff. But for me, I was lost when I met him. I had been struggling with my anorexia for many years but it was at its definite worst when I met my husband. I also worked 24/7 on my upcoming music (that never was released since I decided to leave my record label for many different reasons) and I had come to a point where I wasn't myself anymore. I think everyone who knows me can say that I wasn't ME at that point at all. My disease and work had taken up my whole life and I got lost. Today I'm 100% myself again, I've found happiness and light. Most of this is because the amazing relationship I have to my husband, the way we encourage and strengthen each other. <3
Why were you in such a hurry to get married?
We weren't! We got married when we felt like it was the right time and nothing about it was hurried even though we did get married quite soon after we started dating. What's meant to be will happen.
Are you going to be posting pictures where the baby's face is visible?
Probably in the very beginning, but not when he starts to get his "own looks", if you know what I mean haha...
The most important thing you want your son to learn about life?
Ouu that's a hard one!! I want him to have a kind heart and be respectful towards all people. And I want him to be genuinely happy and for him to know that that's the most important thing. Because when you're genuinely happy I think you automatically get the other things, like being kind, generous, loving etc.
What's your situation with your eating disorder atm?
This is hard for me to talk about and I want to be strong, not vulnerable, especially now during pregnancy. I eat the amount that's recommended to do in the third trimester. I never skip a meal or "say no" to a craving I'm having because of my ill thoughts. And I'm kind of okay with my body right now, I'm carrying my son and that's the only thing my mind is on. But to be honest, the fact that I've gained so much weight and that my body feels heavy and BIG is hard for me to deal with. So I do have moments of anxiety when I'm just waiting for Mini to arrive so I can lose weight asap and "not eat". But this is obviously my disease talking and I'm doing everything not to think about my body or weight too much. So most of the time I would say I'm doing good!
Do you think there's a risk that you'll get ill again after pregnancy?
Yes. But I think I'd be strong enough to ask for help in time, before getting in a bad shape again. And since I'm kind of expecting my disease to try to a come back after pregnancy, since I know I'm having a hard time dealing with pregnancy kg's, I'm going to be open with the people around me so they know how I'm feeling and can help me if it feels hard to stay healthy!
Are you still able to have sex during pregnancy?
In week 20 I got to know I had a special preggy condition and therefor I wasn't allowed to have sex at all. But two weeks ago my doctor said the condition is much better and now I'm "back to normal", just need to be a bit more careful than usual!
Why did you choose to move to Sweden?
My husband has worked in Stockholm since last May. We moved here when he started his job but December-March we were in Finland: I wanted to be close to my family when my pregnancy was hard on me and my hubby had some work stuff there as well. But now we moved back to Sweden, to our new apartment, a month ago!
