Guys, it's exactly 10 weeks left until our scheduled C-section today!!! I'm so excited I can't stay calm haha. As I've mentioned before it can still be a week earlier or later we're looking at, since the C-section will be adjusted after the baby and how he's growing. But according to what it looks like now it's exactly 10 weeks to go. WIHUU! Now I'm 29 weeks pregnant and here comes a little update on the baby and myself.
The baby: Now Mini is about 40cm tall and weighs 1,2kg or something like that. We actually think Mini is going to come out a bit earlier because he's been growing a bit faster than his growth curve. Which is super good since the doctors said he might grow too little in the beginning. So it seems like he's doing great and becoming a real big boy haha.
Fun fact, I can actually feel when Mini is peeing?! I thought something was off so I asked why it feels like my belly is vibrating for about 5-7 seconds every now and then and apparently baby boys tend to do that when they're peeing. HAHA, it's the weirdest thing so far but it's a bit funny. The baby can also cough at this point so you can feel it and then there's the hiccups that come every now and then.
Our Mini has a pretty clear pattern and he's awake at pretty much the same times every day now. Of course it variates a bit and sometimes he's more/less active so I'm trying not to think about it too much even though some recommend that you track the baby's movement in more detail.
Mommy: I just booked my first physiotherapy session for next week since pretty much my whole body is in pain now. So from next week I'll have my own physiotherapist that takes care of me and helps me through these last weeks. I'm really looking forward to it and I hope it'll help with my pain! It's basically everything from my neck down to my knees that hurts hehe... And it gets a lot worse if I go out for a walk etc, which is a bit frustrating since lying on the sofa all day isn't ideal.
I'm officially at the stage where last night, my husband had to cut my toe nails haha! It's impossible to reach my feet, no matter what position I'm in. So from now on I'll need a little help hehe. But apart from this, the pain and the fact that I've had a fever on and off for over two weeks that won't go away(?!) I'm actually enjoying this stage of pregnancy the most so far. I haven't had nausea at all for a couple of weeks and to FINALLY be able to eat whatever I want feels great. I'm so happy. Now baby boy is kicking and that's my cue to go make us some lunch. <3
