Last night was a good preparation for what life with a newborn will be like. After two hours of sleep me & my husband woke up to our pug making the weirdest sounds. It literally sounded like he was dying: at first I thought he couldn't breathe since he made these weird inhale sounds but he still got some air and was mostly just chocked himself. Not knowing how to react I kind of panicked but took him out of his bed and in to the livingroom. The weird attack continued for a couple of minutes but then he went back to normal and fell back asleep after a while. My heart skipped a beat when I thought he was going to die from not being able to breathe! I talked to a vet today and either it's just something that comes from being a short-snouted breed or then it might be nasal mites or something similar... Have your dogs done this?!
After Elton's tiny attack I couldn't go back to sleep and when I finally was falling asleep Mini started kicking like crazy haha. He's never been so wild, maybe it's something he does every night but I miss it since I'm usually asleep? So 5AM I finally got some sleep and then 6AM the alarm went off... Grrr this was such a good test night for what sleeping with a newborn will be like hehe. And I LOVE sleeping and I usually sleep a LOT. So I have a feeling the lack of sleep will be the biggest challenge for me. But who knows, maybe Mini likes sleeping as much as I do!
Me & lé hubby had breakkie at Riche this morning, so cozy to spend a weekday morning together before he went off to work. A crazy thing though is that my pregnancy nausea is back!! Not as bad as before but I'm definitely nauseous for several hours a day now again and it's not fun guys heh... I went exactly 3 weeks without any nausea, man I miss those weeks!! But only 2 more months now, I can do it!
Anyways, after our breakkie I went to my first physiotherapy session and it was so good. My back and hips are in a pretty bad shape so we decided I'll go there once a week to get help and try to take some of the pain away. But if you're pregnant and have lots of pain I definitely recommend going to something similar! At first I thought I wouldn't need it and that it "wouldn't help anyways" but already after one session I feel a tiiiny bit better. I mean, it's not getting worst at least! :)
(My favorite picture of Elton that always makes me smile hehe)
