I took the whole weekend off and did zero work stuff. Felt so good to be completely stress free and only focus on well-being and family. Me and my husband had a real quality time weekend where we made carrot cake, took long walks together with our pug, watched movies and just snuggled. So important to remember each other even though it's hectic with a baby soon arriving and both have lots of work and long days!
I'm in this place where everything feels GREAT right now. I'm excited about all the work stuff I have scheduled for these last weeks before Mini arrives. I still haven't thought about how much work I want to take on when Mini is here but I'm definitely going to blog and let you in on life as a new mommy! And besides work I feel that I'm very calm and comfortable with my situation and everything that's happening right now. And tomorrow I finally have my first physiotherapy session, so let's hope that'll be good for my little body. Yesterday I woke up at 7AM screaming in pain hehe... Wondering how much my belly will still be growing these last two months?!
We're also trying to plan our summer a tiny bit and my question is, how much can you travel/do with a newborn? Anyone who has experiences with this? I'm talking about the first 1-3 months or so. No, we're not planning on going on a hardcore trip or anything but small trips, long car drives and hotel nights etc. Is it worth it or is it mostly worrying and stressing hehe? I feel that we're a bit too optimistic when it comes to this and therefor I'd love to hear some reviews haha. For example, last summer I wanted to visit Gotland so badly but we never found the time to go there. Fun fact: we we're planning a proposal trip to Gotland but ended up going to a really cozy spa hotel near Stockholm instead. So this summer I'd love to get in a weekend on Gotland or something like that!
