My feeling right now is GREAT! I'm spending my first whole day in our new apartment in Stockholm (or Lidingö to be more correct) and I'm beyond happy. There was a time during my pregnancy when both me and my husband doubted I'd be in shape to get our own home before the baby's arrival. Getting a new place and having the energy and time to move in and actually make it a home felt pretty far away the first five months of pregnancy when I couldn't even go to the grocery store. And now here I am, apart from some nausea and contractions I've been up and going since 5:30 this morning and have now gotten pretty much everything in place here!
Elton (our pug) loves it here and it's so easy with a dog in an area like this, where there's almost zero traffic and perfect places to go out for walks etc. Can't wait until Mini arrives and we can stroll around with him in our neighborhoods! Today we're getting his baby crib in place so soon I'll show you what Mini's corner in our apartment will look like.
A great thing about our new place is that I finally have a decent work place where I can be cuddled up with my computer and projects. The past 6 months I've pretty much been working from the couch and that hasn't been the best solution for my dear body who nowadays feels more like a 60-year-old's than a 19-year-old's hehe... I hope my back recovers quickly after pregnancy!
Can't wait until my hubby gets home from work so we can try the steam sauna and make (vegan!) lasagna. My cooking is a bit bad when I'm by myself during the days, it's either going to a restaurant or frozen pizza haha. So now I've decided that we're gonna cook together every night and then I'm gonna make lunch boxes for myself so I can eat something a bit better than fast food during the days! Good idea right?! I also think lunch boxes will be a good solution for when the baby arrives. Might get a little hectic to cook twice a day with a newborn heh.
